Atef E. Khouzam, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Board Certified – American Board of Internal Medicine
Dr. Khouzam received his medical degree from Alexandria University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency program at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago. In 1984, he started his Internal Medicine practice in Newport Beach, and in 1996 he co-founded Newport Beach Medical Associates, Inc. along with Dr. James Berman and the late Dr. Robert Stein.
Dr. Khouzam has been an active member in the Department of Internal Medicine at Hoag Hospital since 1984 and has served on multiple hospital committees through the years. Dr. Khouzam is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in 2004 he was elected Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Khouzam resides in South Orange County with his wife. He is the proud father of two grown children. He enjoys music, traveling, and spending time with his family.
