Board Certified – American Board of Internal Medicine

Dr. Chun received a merit scholarship and his undergraduate degree from Boston University. He was part of an early acceptance combined undergraduate and medical school program at the Boston University School of Medicine, where he also served as a medical school interviewer. He completed his internal medicine residency in Boston where he trained with some of the most renowned physicians in the world. He received the Teaching Associate Award from the School of Medicine during his time there. Dr. Chun started private practice in 1998 at Internal Medicine Associates in Nevada where he was one of the managing partners. He was a member of the Critical Care committee at Mountain View Hospital, where he also served on the medical legal review panel. In 2007 Dr. Chun joined Newport Beach Medical Associates and the Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital Staff. Dr Chun’s interests include skiing, martial arts, tennis and the Boston Red Sox.
